03 Manitou Sherman Breakout parts
Does anyone happen to have one of these laying around with a medium or soft spring set in it? I have spent the last few days fighting local bike shops to order these parts with no luck. I know the shock is a bit dated (probably also considered a beater) but it is already on the bike and will be more than adequate when it is no longer setup for a pizza eater.
thanks

Travel? If it's the old 150mm version I may have a medium spring out of a Flick Plus that should work.

It's the old 132/152 externally adjustable fork
Can be viewed in the following link

I've got a local shop that claims to have ordered one but I really have my doubts it will show up. If they do not come through and this appears to be the correct spring what would you like for it?

don't know that it helps you, but i'm selling my sherman breakout plus [ame="http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=163543"]here[/ame] -- not sure if you can use it for parts. i'm guessing not, but...

Just a couple bucks for shipping. I'm just glad someone can use it, I've saved it all this time. The Flick+ was horribly undersprung from the factory since it didn't have air assist, and the firm spring went with the bike when I sold it.
Does your Breakout have the lockdown travel adjust where the fork is locked in partially-compressed mode? If so, I'm sure this is the right spring. Let me know.

I believe that it does... to be completely honest I can't put enough force on the spring to see whether or not the fork sits lower on one setting or the other. The spring in it at the moment has a black swath of paint which I was told means extra firm.
I'll hit you up mid next week if my "l"bs doesn't pull through with the order!
