Recovery time for screw removal
I didn't see this in Particles rod removal thread but was wondering what the recovery time was to remove 2 screws (ankle/below knee) in my tibia (holding a rod in place). Was also gonna get my tib calcium deposit shaved down but i assume that's no biggie. I'm guessing it should be minimal but hoping for a few big teton hiking/climbing trips this summer and debating weather i wait till mid fall.

I explained all I went through here in [ame="http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=149695"]this thread[/ame]. Two screws should be a piece of cake.

I had a tib/fib rod in '89. Six/eight months later I had the screws out since they hurt when I bumped them on things. A year after the break I had the rod out. I took no time off for the screws but took a week off work after the rod removal.
