Phish Spoilers Setlist discussion
Still thinking a Waves set opener one of these nights at JB. Perhaps A Song I Heard the Ocean Sing?

I could see them opening with ASIHTOS, but I'm calling Llama for tomorrow's opener.
Phish is FUCKING BACK! They sound tight, well-practiced and are playing with newly found passion. Before Tuesday's show, I had never been to Jones Beach and I was extremely impressed at how great the sound was. There isn't a bad seat in that entire venue. Only wish I could've stayed for another show.
Kinda surprised they played YEM again at tonight's show after just playing it at Phenway.'09/'10: 69

I've seen TAB at Jones Beach and agree about it being a cool venue. I am dl'ing the first set from last night, but thought, IMHO, the second-set on paper last night looked weak.

interesting setlist mix so far. YEM repeat is somewhat of a surprise. I don't think that I would have been very happy with the placement of TTE. New songs seem to have a lot of energy. I agree with Rontele, I would expect a Waves tonight, especially with the rain and impending storm.
However, my mind is getting itself prepared for GW. They have scarcely played a sub-par show there."You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning".

Yeah, I wasn't too impressed with the 2nd set last night either. I heard they nailed D-Sky last night which is always good. I just downloaded Fenway last night and got a chance to listen to Destiny Unbound a 2nd time around. Great Gordon licks in this one.
It's gonna be a long 2 months 'til Red Rocks.'09/'10: 69

southwest has cheap flights to chicago - about halfway between indy and madison. when i was still planning to go to deer creek and alpine, you could get a RT flight for around $200, not bad considering you get three nights of the phishes. instead i'll be staying home, sleeping in my own bed each night, and seeing four nights at red rocks. not a bad alternative.
the guy that i traded sunday alpines for red rocks has some lawns he needs to sell if you're interested....i can see if he still has 'em.

First set was great last night. 2nd set was weak. Time turns elastic really needs some kinks to be worked out. 2nd set just really never gelled.

Anyone want to hook it up with some DL links from the last two nights?
I would prefer a good AUD, but I won't complain about an SBD
I need something to listen to at work tonight.
Thanks!

SOAM. This set is killer. Speaking of killer Kill Devil Falls is a rippin' new tune, wierd they repeated it though. Theme had the killer CK5 action.
This is a perfect way to end my last day at the Basin this year, skim the pond, stream the Phish!
I for one am happy they haven't played anything off Round Room or Undermind.

Anyone go last night (Jones Beach)? I ended up selling my ticket in the lot as I just wasn't feeling so well and the wind and rain
were not helping the situation.
Set 1 sounds excellent, so far. Mike totally lays it down in Boogie On.
Better than the dissapointing set 2 from Thursday night.

The Camden Sand is very, very nice. Hose-like, similar to the Ghost from Gorge '03.
Sent chills down my spine.
Less than a week 'til the Fox

There's both the Waves and ASIHTOS.
