Thread: Split a place/recommend housing in Las Lenas

I will be going to Las Lenas this July or late June for the whole season with my girlfriend and we are in the market for a cheapish place to stay. I just thought i would put the word out on the board. Ideally another couple and us could split a 2 bedroom and keep prices low. The site I looked on seemed VERY expensive, and I have a feeling that with the right opportunity or connections, we could keep the cost lower.

I have heard that Malargue is a bit cheaper, but I would like to live where I will be most of the time and if Las Lenas is it, then so be it. I hope the prices are reasonable, otherwise I may have to improvise. I am not looking to do this super budget, but I do not want to pay something like 2000$ a month for the equivalent of an American dorm room.

Sorry for my english, first, I live in argentina. So, you should know that in Las Leñas, they have differentes prices for argentinians and “rest of the world” people.
So, you probably should get in contact with an argentinian, or –if you can- with someone in Mendonza (San Rafael is the “big city” near to Las Leñas, or you already know, Malargue). That´s the only way you can get a better price. You may try www.mercadolibre.com.ar (it´s our ebay), and there you´ll find “real people” that owns a flat in Las Leñas and they offer it for rent for normal prices, and with big discounts for long terms. (And 1 month is a very long term for us). Don´t stay in Malargue, is kinda sad.
Any further help you may need, just contact me. I´ll probably go the last 2 weeks of July.
