The SledSkiers Go For a Tour-A Whistler TR Apr. 15
Well, with my sled crapping out yesterday, Dave's shoulder crapping out on him making him unable to ride, and everyone else crapping out on Atrain, what do we do on a beautiful sunny day with epic conditions from last couple days, we go TOURING, hell yeah. A quick afternoon jaunt, hell, we were bummed we could not sled.
The Players-RugbyDave, Atrain505, and myself.
The goal in red-Finger Chutes on Decker. N facing making for super nice and soft pow-pow. Our entrance in green, not about to drop the cornice due to suspected loading in chute.
Atrain dropping in first section. Unfortunately Dave never made it this far as he had an unfortunate run-in with a flat bottom of manky snow after a little blind rollover. Lets just say he wasn't up for testing his Squad's brand new tip rocker.
Finger Chute
Myself getting firsts, thanks A.
Fuck yeah the apron was good.
And that was that, the day is done.

Sweet pictures, pure jealousy from exam hell...
I'm guessing everything that's not north facing is getting slushy at this point?

Nice work. Been eyeing up some of those lines myself recently, chute to lookers right of the pencil is looking good.

yeah, on that subject, anyone have a spare 189 squad kicking around? oh and maybe a magic cure for a strained MCL and a fucked to all hell shoulder?

Don't have a squad laying around, however, the magic cure for strained MCL is a knee brace and the ALL around cure is lots of booze, it seems to help with the pain...Ever heard the phrase, drink a 750 ml and call me (the doc) in the morning...
Our world is full of surrender at the first sign of adversity, do not give up when the challenge meets you, meet the challenge. Through perseverance comes the rewards, the rewards that make life so enjoyable.
Seize the day, trusting little in the future.

Not a shabby day. Wear sunscreen, guys. I hope y'all enjoyed the delightfulness waiting up on blackcomb for us today.
