What would you do if you got to cherry pick the sickest runs on the planet from the front seat of a sexy red helicopter? I have no choice.
Some of the future big ballin' lawyer wages got you Jonesin'?

See my last post for the link. It's a photo contest where the pic with the most "likes" wins a heli-skiing trip! Surely you must be getting some good ones this season.
"Submit your best Powder and Freeride photos for a chance to win a Grand Prize heli-skiing trip to Southeast Alaska Backcountry Adventures or one of two Category Prize packages from The North Face and Atomic. The winners will be determined through a process of on page user voting, TGR athlete/staff judging and TGR Forum voting as follows:
1) Submit your best Powder and Freeride photos to the contest between 1/16/12 and 3/11/12 at 11:59 PM MST. Photos must have at least 15 Facebook "Likes" to be officially entered, so share your entry(s) early and often.
2) Get your favorite photos noticed by Facebook "liking" them between 1/16/12 and 3/18/12 at 11:59 PM MST.
3) A committee of TGR athletes and staff will narrow the 25 most "liked" photos from each category down to 10 finalists by 3/25/12."

Who has time to stop for pictures when the pow is so good? Priorities I guess. Someday I'll ride a heli without a tool bag and dry suit.

If you haven't heard already, Haines crushed the record for snowfall in town this year. We're somewhere around 350" in town @ sea level right now. This week has been off the chain.

Wow...looks insane. Care to comment on stability, given recent events?

The accident which took Rob and Nick was certainly a really big bummer, and though I haven't heard many details yet, it seems to be an outlier with regards to the rest of the snowpack. Our internal stability rating has been stuck at moderate for a while now. Big big lines are getting sent daily.

Just left HNS yesterday and looking back on this season all I can say is, "Fucking wow!" It was unreal. I'm still unable to fully comprehend it.

This little feature was affectionately named, "The Butter Pad." Tadashi Fuse gets busy.
