    Fat telemark skis = fat alpine skis. Pick a ski and mount them.

    dude, are you the only tele skier who hasn't heard that BDO1s are pieces of shit that manage to leverage themselves out of skis? THere are many threads devoted only to discussing the pull-out issue of BDO1s. I don't recall that other thread -- is the shop that sold you the BDO1s one of those clueless shops that somehow missed the memo on BDO1s and the pullout issue?

    Most any other tele binding, including the HH, when mounted properly will be bomber with most any decent ski. And yep, the Katana is one of the better ones in this department. metal topsheet, dense core. I have a pair mounted tele, zero issues.

    There is nothing different when picking a tele ski, than a regular ski!
    Just get the one you would like for regular skiing, and mount it tele!
