Who is online? I just got cable/internet at my apt yesterday. already throughly FIENDING on Call of Duty: World at War.

Not playing but I can recommend some good games for you. If you like WWII games check out the Brothers in Arms series. Way better then the Call of Duty which is a steaming pile of disappointment. If you have extra time play them in order Road to Hill 30, Earned in Blood, and the newest one Hells Highway. Makes the story that much better it's pretty dark but can be pretty funny at times. Here are the trailers for it.

haven't tried cod:waw yet, nor xbox live (need to add the internet adapter) but am thoroughly addicted to fallout3 right now in a bad way.

Don't bother it sucks. Fallout 3 is amazing one of my favorite games total eye candy. The series has always set the mood for the nuclear end of the world perfectly. My only qualm with it was that the side quests didn't grab me much as the first two but the main quest made up for it. The sad thing was that I blew through the main quest in 16 hours which was a little disappointing. The nerd in me was stoked that they kept the same narrator.

I've been wanting to play some Left 4 Dead but haven't got the chance yet I heard it's pretty good.

Edit: Make sure you find the Alien Blaster it pwns. Loved that they kept it around.

I have also been playing a ton of Sid Meier's Civilization. I never thought I would enjoy a game with so much micro-management but man is it addictive!

I have all but given up on COD world at war online. I get smoked by these little shit 13 year olds almost instantly every game and it's getting annoying! I think I need to start an over 30 league or something. I don't understand how these kids can annihilate me so quickly every time, their reflexes combined with the crack they must be smoking plus ADD gives them insane reaction time and I just can't keep up!!

anybody checking out the Ghostbusters game or Brutal Legend?????? can't wait for those to come out!!!!

I enjoyed Civ also I don't know why but I always played as Lincoln. My only gripe was for me the controls were a little bit sketchy but other then that it was fun.

Mirrors Edge was amazing game. I almost always play FPS or something along those lines and Mirrors was a nice break from it. Pretty addicting running around a city making insane jump after insane jump.

yeah I downloaded the demo of Mirror's Edge and thought it was pretty fun. I don't have a single thin dime to buy new games but the demo downloads off of xbox live are schweet.

The Conan demo is really fun and for some reason I have been playing alot of Paperboy and Double Dragon. Low tech yet fun.

also I should change the title of this thread because I decided to stop smoking pot. Just really not helping anything living in a haze and if I didn't get a job because I failed a drug test I'd feel like a fuckin donkey. So no more goon!

I'm addicted to CoD. Am I the only one here on PS3, havent found a maggot yet. I'm such a nerd I have a TGR tag. I'm redline480. Allthough I'm 27, that 30+ league sounds good

That's the exact reason why I rent. I can never justify buying a game because not only do I blaze through them I don't play them again. There's only a handful of games that I bought mostly games you can play with your friends Mario Kart, Rockband, Guitar Hero and the best one ever Gears of War 2 on co-op = total pwnage. The 55 levels of hoard were addicting and awesome and the campaign is sweet with a kick ass story. Can't wait for the thrid installment but it's going to be delayed for the Gears movie which is going to be gay.

MtnMike73...I'm on after 9 pm pacific a few times a week. Fun times for sure.

COD 4 Modern Warfare is still good, too. Looking forward to Modern Warfare 2 coming on 11/10/09.

I'm about 14 hours in on Fallout III, but got busy and haven't played it in a couple of months. Need to get back on that...

Civ II might be my favorite game of all time. Bought it like 12 years ago for the PC--still play it every now & again.

Just broke my arm yesterday, likely no work for me for awhile. Good news is the arm breakage is such that I can still hold an xbox ctrllr no problem at all. Playing GTA IV TLAD, trying to complete as much as possible.

I am actually getting better at the game, I have called in air strikes a couple times and have actually had a positive kill/death spread a few times so either I am getting better or I got lucky in a couple matches.

I don't know where my headphones/mic thing is and listening to little kids talk shit is possibly one of the funniest things ever. There is something inherently funny about listening to a high-pitched british 11 year old saying "you love cock in your mouth eh?" to a high-pitched american 11 year old. It does get annoying after a while but it's great to hear that internet tough guys are still out there even if they are little 11 year olds!

negative, i am working, despite my 360 being a mere 10 ft away. Find your headphone, its great practice for your stand up. Not bad, took me a while to get airstrikes, every dog gets lucky. I think it depends on when you are playing, a lot more good players in the evening weekend than during the weekday at noon.

hmmmm, I guess I'll have to put Burnout Paradise down break the seal on world at war this weekend. WaywardDerelict is my tag and I will be looking for change.

And after getting REAMED by 10 y.o.'s in halo 3, I'm all for a 30+ league.
