Some times you just want...
a grilled cheese.
And now is one of those times. If L.A. only had Waffle House."It appears my hypocrisy knows no bounds."

First of all: Waffle House for a grilled cheese??? Hmmph.
Second of all: THERE'S NO WAFFLE HOUSE IN L.A.!!!???!!!
That's definitely quite outrageous. I wish you luck in your quest for toast and dairy, DB.

pork roll egg and cheese!
When you've had your fun, and your work is done, you must not
Succumb
I can feel you breathe, it's like a mega-weedge inside,
Please don't hide
So mom, if you please, pass me the pork roll egg and cheese
If you please, on a kaiser bun
Mom, if you please, pass me the pork roll egg and cheese
If you please, on a kaiser bun
When the guava's drained, Eddie Dingle remains
But we must further ourselves on
So dynamic is life, staring into the sight's
Not right, but wrong in a good way
So mom, if you please, pass me the pork roll egg and cheese
If you please, on a kaiser bun
Mom, if you please, pass me the pork roll egg and cheese
If you please, on a kaiser bun

(Zzzz... eeezz..

Seriously, Beaver - that's some twilightzone chit...
Grilled Cheese? Must have:
Sourdough Bread (real, not Pepperidge Farm
)
Kraft Singles Yellow American Cheese
Lighly Salted Butter
...all else is a pale imitation of a Grilled Cheese Sandwich, IMHO.
Corollary Question: Ketchup - Yes or No?

Seriously, wtf? When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back. GET MAD! I DON'T WANT YOUR DAMN LEMONS! WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THESE?! DEMAND TO SEE LIFE'S MANAGER! Make life RUE the day it thought it could give YOU LEMONS! DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?! I'M THE MAN WHO'S GONNA BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN! WITH THE LEMONS! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that's gonna BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN!

On topic, there's a little place next to my office that puts together a great grilled cheese - ham or bacon optional.

08-25-2004, 03:51 PM #16I'm with PlayHarder. If you add meat, it's now a ham melt or bacon melt, not grilled cheese - adding meat is tasty though!Originally posted by PlayHarder
