Denver funky peeps
Check out this line up Sunday night at the Oriental Theater. You won't be disappointed.
WILL BERNARD BAND featuring Andy Hess (bass) , John Medeski (keyboards), and Stanton Moore (drums).
Will Bernard is a stellar guitarist who has played with the likes of Dr Lonnie Smith, Idris Muhammad and Zigaboo Modeliste. Between 2002 and 2005 he toured extensively in the US with Robert Walter’s 20th Congress. Sit-ins and all-star bands have included Trey Anastasio, Ruben Wilson, Johnny Vidacovitch, Melvin Seals, Living Daylights and Mike Clark’s Prescription Renewal.
The rest of the band features Stanton Moore of Galactic, John Medeski of Medeski, Martin & Wood, and Andy Hess of Govt Mule and Black Crowes.
Local hot-shots The Fox Street All Stars warm up the stage at 8:00pm.
