    Yo Lumpy.

    You still got this thing?

    I have a 5wt 10' pro, tfo.

I've fished it a few times....
Since then it's been a book you read in reverse, so you understand less as the pages turn.

What size snook will this catch?

I'll trade you a week in an oceanfront condo for it.

    (kinda serious here.)

I think it would be good for catching the bait.

Seriously- out in the open, you could probably land a large snook with it. But, if you are in mangroves or docks, you will get owned by a snook and broken off on anything less than an 8 wt. I usually pull out the 10 wt when on docks- just to muscle them away from pilings. Assuming I hook one, which is a big assumption these days.

Good to know. I do most of my fishing from the beach, but the snook in these parts (or up in Jupiter/Jensen where I fish) run on the big side.

Hope to get a kayak up there and explore inshore this summer, now that our #2 is getting a little older. Didn't do much fishing with a newborn in the house .
