AltaChic is kick you in the ankle SWEET!
Minutes before getting on the road to the water ramps in SLC, I was playing Telekoptero a game of PIG at AltaChics house, dunking and all. In the midst of my basketball steeze session, I rolled my ankle, it sucked.

A girl in my class twisted her ankle playing soccer. It was so swollen she couldnt wear a shoe for like a week and a half. But yours isn't that bad... I wish you health, sir.Days on snow 06-07: 3

Sucks about the ankle dood, but the human body's an awesome machine. You'll be back on the courts right around the first snowfall at Silverton...

A bucket of ice is now your friend. Been there done that...good thing is as soon as you can jam it in a ski boot you can ski on it with no fear of doing any damage.

Max....tell her that keeping her feet stuck up in the air is good for the swelling and that you have the perfect way to help her do it....Quando paramucho mi amore de felice carathon.

Just make sure you let it heal all the way before doing anything on it. i made the mistake of playing basketball on a sprained ankle and really messed it up... three times. It's super easy to reinjure even when you don't feel much pain.

Wow, thanks for all the support you guys! I just got another brace for it, and I've been walking on it this week at work. It hurts, but not too terribly bad. Been ricing it as best I can.
Debating whether to go kayaking this weekend with it, I've got a pretty strong roll, but if I did end up swimming, It wouldn't be good. Sooo tough to have buddies asking me to go do things and being like "I'm not sure if I should"....
Cankles suck.

Blurred, sorry to hear about that! That sucks... I'd think twice about doing something where you might hurt it again before ski season, you'll be kicking yourself double if you end up missing some early season turns (which might be sweet!).
although, I guess you wouldn't be expecting to use your ankle much in kayaking. I dunno, if you fall out, just float to shore or something.
heal up man!Not on here much anymore. Drop me an email if you want to contact me. Have a wonderful winter!

Nothing makes as good an ankle splint as a ski boot

Getting in it is another matter...
