What is extreme skiing?
Just wondering in peoples own words what you would describe as extreme skiing? I know it's an overused, overcliched term but i think it's still relevant sometimes.

The Juicy Fruit commercial, Aspen Extreme, Scott Schmidt in a yellow TNF fart bag and anything else that involves good skiing and horrible fashion choices (excluding gypsies, long tees, emo jeans, etc). The more day glo, the more extreme brah.
Neoprene head bands, flex ons and high end solly rear entries all get bonus extreme points.

Siula Grande would be pretty extreme. Trying to figure out WTF the snow is doing in a few places makes my head hurt.

If you can feel your sphincter tighten, then you're doing it right.

I think I just shit my knickers, I had no idea the Macho Man Randy Savage was a dirt skier but I should have figured as much. With rear entries, no less. Fuck, that is extreme. Why do I feel like we're two seconds from where he snaps into a slim jim?? I bet he's skiing to Chuck Norris' wasteland cottage where they're gonna flash-cook a pot roast by placing it between them during a staring contest. It's gonna be fuckin' extreme.

Extreme skiing is a term that started in the eighties when people started skiing unmarked trails & actually jumped off natural features. Now it is a broad term used by a gaper or non skier to describe anyone that is better than them. I cringe when I hear that term. Step into a Slim Jim

I think it really is more of an attitude/mantra than an actual activity.
