The question isn't, "what is extreme skiing?" The real question is...

Pure solid gold. Went to sleep laughing. Woke up laughing. Still laughing.
Live each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influences of each.

What is extreme skiing?
Kim’s a blast to ski with and she’s parlayed that into a career giving ski clinics.
Chris Davenport’s been really successful with his sponsorships and his relationship with Kastle.
What’s up with some of the other “Rock Stars”of extreme skiing?
Can Aaron McGovern even walk?

Here’s the whole thing:
My mom told me recently that she knew about this specific crash, and knew this was what I was trying to do with my life (I was the only skier in my family, and I moved to Crested Butte to ski the “extreme”), she basically wrote me off.
And to her psychologically everything that has happened since then has happened to a dead man walking, because she felt like I had some kind of death wish screws loose thing if I could see that and still want to be a part of that kind of skiing.
Her words were like “I saw you watch that awful footage of a guy tumbling to his death (that’s what she thought) and it didn’t even phase you, so I kind of prepared for the worst “…or something like that.
Anyway, thanks for the memories Garrett Bartelt.
