This is terribly sad news. It was my pleasure meeting/skiing and partying with you Travis.
Rest In Peace

Travis was by far the most skilled human being I have ever skied with or seen ski. I am to privileged to have known him and will always remember his rediculously gnarly stories and adventures.
Rest in peace Trav, I know that where ever you are, you are doing the absolute gnarliest thing possible.Last edited by jeffamantea; 02-23-2009 at 09:05 PM. Reason: mistake

Horrible news. I had just met Travis for the first time at the Fernie Freeski comp. I have never seen someone ski as fluid and aggressively as he did. Glad I got to enjoy a beer with you buddy, your influence on the sport will be missed. I hope they find whoever did this and make them watch a video of Travis’s skiing. Unreal.

Absolutely horrible. Sounds like a great guy, and those of us who'll never get to meet him are lessened for it.
Vibes to those he left behind.not counting days 2016-17

this is the second person within one year that I have known who has died of a hit and run accident. Can't we just all agree to take Taxis?! RIP Travis.

The wake is on Saturday. If there is anything you would like to have passed along to the family, I can do that for you. I'm sure they appreciate your thoughts.
