The class of people that this society rewards so lavishly are the worst kind of people. They're pretty fucking good at buying influence and convincing you all that they're living the American Dream, and that if you were only as smart as them and worked as hard you'd have it too. It's bullshit, you should hear the conversations they have with each other, they view the rest of the world with such contempt.

I guess it is a sad way to go through life. I also guess though, that once you see truths, it's impossible to un-see them.

Hey I wasn't trying to call you out. What I meant by the" that's a sad way to go through life" comment was this: You shouldn't be looking at people and just labeling them cause they're rich or poor. Your comments about certain people who think they're better than others cause of wealth isn't wrong it's just that it's not the whole story.

Yep, lots of rich douches, but plenty of cool people who've made it and give back to the community through charity, volunteerism, and a host of other ways. You've seen a small group of people you've made a judgement about. Don't make the mistake of judging the whole by a small sample group. That's really no different than racism.

I've met way too many people of means through my profession, and just in life to recognize money ain't what makes people assholes (for the most part). I think that die is cast long before they acquire wealth.

I do know that you've got to make yourself happy, and not worry too much over shit beyond your control like some rich fuck who thinks he's better than you cause he's got fat bank accounts.

Curious, you post this to every other person on this board ?? Or are you just singling me out for some reason ?? Or are you the official sanctioning body of just what's acceptable on TGR ?? As I recall, all of these topics I've posted to were here when I came to the site. I don't recall bringing them with me. And, last time I checked no one was forced to read any of these threads.
