Question Closest to Metal Gear Solid on Xbox 360?

What game is closest to MGS on the Xbox platform? Game play, story, etc.

I just got Halo 3 used from Microcenter tonight and realized I got a Spanish version I played solo for a little while in spanish and I am not sure if I dig it as much as I thought I would.

Tomorrow I am returning it and either getting the English version or getting something different. From a gamer jong (haven't had a system in years) help me out.

I was addicted to MGS on playstation 2 so something along those lines would be best if I don't get H3 again.

Any of the Tom Clancy games. Vegas, Splinter Cell, etc.

    Vegas 2 rocks my socks.

2nded. Just finished Splinter Cell:Chaos Theory. I think it plays a bit slower than MGS, but same idea.

Splinter Cell. Rainbow stuff is a bit much just go ahead and shoot. Splinter Cell makes you think a bit every once in a while, like MGS.

OK, how about going the opposite direction? I just sold my 360 and got a ps3 due to BD player and built in wireless. I loved Halo. Which ps3 game is most like it? I've played Half-Life 2 and Resistance 2. While both are OK, they don't seem to have the polished multiplayer that H3 does. Is there anything on ps3 that offers that kind of smooth and balanced multiplayer FPS action?

call of duty 4 will make you shit your pants if played on veteran difficulty.

its not quite as technical as any of the MGS's but the storyline is the tits, and the multiplayer is beyond any other game out there.

So I got Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and beat it this weekend. Really? This is the best I can get? I did do it on normal instead of hard but the game was so easy it was laughable. Sigh... I guess I remembered why I stopped playing video games so long ago.

Splinter Cell is probably most similar MGS only it's like MGS on steroids stuck in a mine field in the middle of youarefuckedenstan with only a knife, night vision and thermal vision goggles, and an advanced rifle with cool gadgets.

For more challenge play the game without killing anyone and leaving as little trace as possible.
