Don't be such a dumbshit. Most people assume they're just a bunch of greedy SOB's. The fact they're Jews, Dems or Rep., Nigerians or tralfabians makes no difference to me other than the hypocracy they may show in their party affiliations, and how they'll fight for every last $$ on their income tax returns.

    I agree.
it doesn't matter which party these scumbags belong to. I'm not even a Republican myself and I rarely defend the party as a whole.

This game is just a way to illustrate to the "Holyer that thou" lefties in here that many if not most greedy rich Wall Streeters are Democtrats - in hopes of loosening the bonds of "party" a little bit.

The blame game drawn by party lines is bogus. Step back and look more objectively. Fault is everywhere.

You're really not very intelligent, are you? I'm sure people have told you this before, but it's time you try to listen and stop proving them right with every post.

Who are the (majority of the) people behind the anti-government, deregulation craze that led to this? I'll give you a hint: not your favorite answer. (Democrat!)

    Still stumped?

Chew on this dumb ass. Watch it with you pause button ready, it moves pretty quick.
. If you want to retract your attack on me when you are done watching, that would be cool....but I know you won't.
I know that because you are partisan and not open minded.
If you don't bother watching it...then you will know less than I do. Which makes you the "not very intellegent" "stumped" fuck.
You don't know what you don't know.....

Duh? Why do you think they are getting all of our money in the form of all of these 'bailouts'? Hank Paulson is a Democrat BTW. A flaming enviro-greeny democrat.

Wow. I looked into your insane claim that H.P. is a democrat. Here's the skinny. 97% of his Political donations we to Republicans, which you would expect since he worked in a Republican administration.

BUT...over 1/2 of his donation budget was NOT political and ALL of that went to very far left organizations. Mostly dealing with the environment. He also seems to DIG the Chinesse Government quite a bit.

That all tie with the fact that he acted like a socialist in his Tres. position....

    Verdict.......CLOSET DEMOCRAT !!!

It does suck, and to me is endemic of what many of our federal officials have become.

Environmental groups are far left organizations? Really? You don't need to be a lefty to care about the environment...in fact all of my conservative friends are quite the environmentalists. Maybe it's just because I'm from the NW. I truly hope conservatives care about the environment and it's not just some "far left" movement.

Caring about the environment and supporting far left policies and far left environmental organizations are two separate things.

Yes, and environmental organizations are not always far left. His implied assumption is that environmental groups are far left leaning...when in actuality they are not. It just happens that usually legislation to better the environment is typically backed by dems...where as republicans are wary of it.

    Wrong,

NEPA was signed by Richard Nixon.

The problem is that most modern environmental legislation has little to do with improving the environment and getting rid of pollution i.e. global warming greenhouse gasses which most people mistake for pollution but isn't. No the Global Warming cult/mania/whatever has corrupted the environmental movement. it is more about dragging the economy, technology, the U.S. and western civilization down and replacing it with a socialistic society, than actually doing anything for the environment.

You're pretty good at contradicting yourself. Nicely done.

Here's a question for you. Who started the NP's in the US? Hint, it's not a dem.

Not sure why you're trying to argue about this but you're failing miserably.

Jeritol - Nuh uh! I think you did! He's saying that current environmental legislation (AKA NEPA) is making the US become socialist. He claims that these are far left leaning ideals that were signed into law by, get this, Nixon. Hence the contradiction. Yes, Nixon signed into law NEPA...was Nixon a socialist? I think not. Is NEPA making the US become socialist, again, I don't think so.

Yeah, but he was still right about the environmental movement.

Also, NEPA was never intended to curtail global warming...even though you've stated above that modern environmental legislation (i.e. NEPA) does.

Now, if you're just a tin foil hat wearing GW and GHG hater then fine...admit that you don't agree with the scientific findings that support global warming and move on.

If you think CO2 (a GHG) is never toxic and thus not a pollutant lock yourself in your garage with the car running and see what happens. You'll be doing everyone a favor by doing so.

I disagree, but whatever. I don't really want to go back into another GHG and GW discussion...there's only about 1,000,000,000,000 other threads where mags argue back and forth the validity of GW.
