    crazy elbow pain

So for the past 6 months or so I've had this strange stabbing pain in my elbow. It usually only happened when I rested my elbow on a desk or table and put a lot of pressure right on the point of the bone, but now it's getting so bad that it hurts when my shirt rubs on it. It's extremely localized pain and has no affect on the rest of my arm, but it feels like someone is jamming a nail into my elbow when it hurts. There's no swelling, no marks on the skin, and no bump at all but the pain really does seem to have gotten a lot worse the past few weeks. It's really not a huge deal since it is such localized pain and really has no affect on the rest of my arm, but it's really beginning to piss me off that I can't even use arm rests comfortably.

Any ideas? I'm probably going to have to see a doctor if this keeps up but I'd love to hear what people think (tennis elbow maybe?)

That sounds right. I'm an editor so I spend a lot of time on the computer and it sounds like using a mouse and resting the elbow on my desk could be causing it. I just got a trackball mouse and will start icing regularly so hopefully those will help, but if it still this painful in a week I'll check in with a doctor.

(this has to be the weakest injury ever in Gimp Central)
