    2009/2010 Skis

Looks like some stuff is starting to be released before ISPO. Instead of having a bunch of thread why not try and put it all in one.

    Ok, I'll play.

Just mounted the new Gotama tonight.

A new and very different ski. Straighter, stiffer, with taper and rocker and sweet graphics.

    Wish they were mine.

If you are in the tram line in Jackson tomorrow you will probably see them.

but the rocker on these seem ridiculous, as does the mount point of that specific pair

Just got a pair of the 09-10 Obsethed. SEEXXXXXYYYYY not to mention they absolutely are my favorite one-ski quiver of all time (beating the 189 Made'n w/ tip rocker by a mile).
Putting the "core" in corporate, one turn at a time.

It should be yellow, and renamed the killer banana or something.

Wow, I just now noticed which direction the bindings are facing.

agreed, probabely the most gay rockered skis around. on skipass they say they are built for freestyle in the backcountry, sticking switch tricks in 30cm deep stuff and so on - kind of explains the mounting.

Love those Goliath topsheets! (Probably wouldn't be wise to show them to my inlaws though.) Any word on if there are any changes to next year's Goliaths?

K2 has a ski coming called the hardside. 98 waist, 2 sheets of metal, i believe tip rocker, but it has a removeable swallow tail piece, and a tip attachent for skins.......sounds pretty badass.

Salomon is replacing the GUN with the Shogun. Mark Abma pro model, 101 waist, more east coast friendly then the CZAR, bamboo core.

Line is making a ski with skateboard construction laminate, thin sheets of wood vertically laminated for more pop, verses horizontal laminate in every other ski made.
