Soft boots. Anybody tried 'em?
I read that Brant Moles is using soft boots. After handling a pair in a shop last week, I can't imagine why anyone who is 'core would putter around with such gaper fodder.
I am, however, very open-minded (when I'm not too lit). Anyone here try out a soft boot yet?

Moles boot is highly modified. More burly buckles, beefier strap, rivit in back, custom liner. Definitely not a stock boot. He only took one pair of boots to LL and those were they. He's not a huge guy, however. Haven't tried them myself, but I know an ex Boston Whalers star player who has a brand new pair. Maybe he can tell you.

i talked with moles extensively about his boots down in LL this summer. he really likes them, but as boss said they are highly modified. its his opionion that with todays skis and tecnique lateral stiffness is way more important than forward stiffness. he did tell me he would not reccomend them to a tall guy like me 6'3", with an agressive style, at least untill they improved the stock design. he wants to work with rossi to develop a high end freeride model, but its not there yet.
all i know is he's stoked on 'em, especially on the bootpack, and they didn't seem to effect his ability to rip the shit out of whatever he wanted to

It only makes sense that Moles (mind if I call you Moles???) has modified the shit out of his softies. More power to him for being comfortable in his boots all day long whilst ripping like a crack crazed demon.
