Thread: PNW minions, looking for a partner to climb Rainier next week-end

Viva and I had a third man lined up but work is getting in his way. So we're looking for a third person (man or woman). In shape, with crevasse rescue training / experience. We're thinking of doing one of DC, Ingraham direct or Emmons depending on the party.

Climb would be 8/14-15 (camp 8/13 at night) and could be extended one day either before or after if we want to acclimatize at high camp.

I found not only one but two total strangers to go with. Cool, no? Ah, the beauty of the Internet... Now, if I could get rid of my f!@*($^! cold, because that's gonna impact my shape, for sure.

Climb is for this week-end unless I plead sick and ask for next week-end. But then, how do I know I won't be sick next week-end?
