Any legal mags want to comment on any sanctions I/we may take or pursue to make these guys cough up the furball of their unrighteousness.

Vail does suck if they pressured Sharpshooters to suspend this guy.
I think they did him a favor.

Sharpshooting has got to be the worst job on any mountain.

I am happy to report that the man is feeling well and is back to the slopes.

At Blue Knob years ago a gaper guy with a belt and buckle on the rear
of his parka was offloading at the top. The buckle jammed between slats
on the chair holding the belt taut causing him to go around the bullwheel
hanging flat like a spider on a string.

I must have laughed for 15 minutes. The lifty was not helpful. He came out
yelling and screaming to the guy that he was a moron. LOL again!

    Glad you are ok....
I just find it bizzare that people are shitting on the photographer.
Why aren't O'Reilly and everyone else PROFITTING from the pic at fault??
If a good picture exsists they HAVE to run it?
Did the evil photographer put a gun to their heads and make them show the world what happened to that poor bastard?
Media HYPOCRITES that's all....Nothing new there.
I think the guy who took that pic should be one of the "Real Men of Genius" in the next Bud Ad. Halftime in the Super Bowl would be cool.

    edit -
    Removed a contact at Vail's PR/Relations/Comm dept.

They claim to have not been involved with the termination of the photog. Sounds like bullshit to me, but so be it.

Is this a new cool trend, not have the safety bar down? As long as they say bar coming down...what's the problem?

Me and a bud at Park City Mountain one year had a lifty hold the chair a long time for some dumb reason, let it go like a sling shot right as we were sitting down, the f(&ing thing hit us in the ass, we were barely on and got launched off the front off the platform into about waist deep snow.

They looked at us like we had a problem..sure, two of us just happen to fall off at the same time...I wanted to terminate this guys life...fortunately we just fell off the chair and down a foot or two and the chair went over our heads somehow missing knocking us out cold.

Took me about 5 minutes to get out of the snow, get my skis etc...out of that crap, lots of fun.

The lifties are something else for sure.

Back to your regularly scheduled program....... Vail was fun today. LOTS of snow, and Blue Sky was pretty untracked. Warmed up really fast, though.

"Cool new trend" what in 1940? Only gapers put the bar down. I have no problem with people putting the bar down IF THEY WARN ME but people will just slam it into your head with zero warning.

And statictically speaking gapers fall off the chair whether the bar is down or down or not.

Good thinking. Suspend the guy that took the picture not the liftie that couldn't manage the simple task of flipping down the seat (Although I think the human pinata definitely shares some of the blame).

Please post more...once a year is not enough of this excellent commentary! It's the idiots that have the bar on your head before your boards off the snow...not the act of using the bar. 'tard.

Paul Harvey News and Comment today...

But the story was all messed up. "Vail's Blue Sky Resort..." or some such stupidness... "The lift went up...his pants went down..." Didn't know KMTN ran PH.

DEAR FAGGOT. SHUT THE FUCK UP.

EPICSKI.COM IS YOUR HOME, NOT HERE. BEATER.
Hey d-bag - here's something for you to think about: maybe (just maybe) not everybody here has their little panties in a wad 24/7 and flies into a rage whenever somebody disagrees with them. Maybe these same mags don't take this place uber-seriously. Maybe this even includes the vast majority of the people who post here as opposed to you and like 20 other thin-skinned douchebags. Just something to think about. -JER
