Hah, I thought that the red chair pic was from our favorite southern VT mountain, but then I saw the seat pads, so it couldn't be Magic.
You can cut me off from the civilized world. You can incarcerate me with two moronic cellmates. You can torture me with your thrice daily swill, but you cannot break the spirit of a Winchester. My voice shall be heard from this wilderness, and I shall be delivered from this fetid and festering sewer.

Can't confirm it, but heard one of the lifties forgot to put the seat on the chairlift down. And supposedly the guy's wife was still in line and yelling at everyone who had their cameras out taking pictures of the poor bastard. Even better, they put that shit in the VailDaily this morning.

you can see in the picture that the seat is still flipped up. must have sat down and fell trough where the seat was supposed to be. looks like his ski is caught on the top side of the seat.

That is awesome.
OMG.
poor guy, can you imagine?
Looks like it must be epic Loading FAIL.
One moment you are about to get on a lift, the next you are upside down, de-pantsed for the world to see, and your son has lost all respect for you.
Too fuckin funny.
still laughing.

Not bad, I think if he'd unweight his downhill ski a little earlier it would help his form though....

I'm just a simple girl trying to make my way in the universe...
I come up hard, baby but now I'm cool I didn't make it, sugar playin' by the rules
If you know your history, then you would know where you coming from, then you wouldn't have to ask me, who the heck do I think I am.

Lawsuit? Hope not. Feature film is more like it. But if he were to pursue legal action, I'd say he'd have a better case against the Vail Daily than Vail..on account of defamation, punitive damages to his reputation, things like that.. Wonder where he's from. Good luck bouncing back from that one..hence the lawsuit I guess.

He wasn't defamed, and after hanging upside down from a lift with your pants down (up?) I'm not sure you could claim any great reputation that could be injured. Either way, no expectation of privacy on a lift so they can run whatever shot they want.
I'd guess Vail is already going to offer the guy something to head off a suit.[quote][//quote]

that was awesome.
solesides is right about suing vail....the national ski patrol responsibility code says:Prior to using any lift, you must have the knowledge and ability to load, ride and unload safely.
