So when I shot this (a week ago today), I made a big point of getting into a position where I felt completely safe. However, I was unharnessed and unprotected. Looking back at the image, I'm thinking I exceeded my risk tolerance ... no freaking WAY I would be standing there June 2010 or June 2011 (huge snow years). Enjoy!
(for reference, I'm basically off the frame to the upper left of this image, shot 1.5 hours before)
