^ Great shot.
So this next image is absolutely nothing special as far as pictures go, but I'm still pretty excited. Got a toy microscope for our 5-year old, and we were looking at (my) blood cells. On a whim, I decided to see if I could get a shot. Aligned the camera right up against the microscope eyepiece. This is just a very small piece of what's viewable in the eyepiece. Really need a lens that can focus really close (e.g. a macro lens); shot this with my Sigma 15mm fisheye (which is the best I got for MFD) and cropped HEAVILY. Like I said, nothing special, but still pretty cool to be able to capture something like this.

Sooooo....The moon seemed really big and bright for some reason the past couple days.
But seriously, I'm pretty stoked on this one. Even though I took it from sea level through some dirty city air, I feel like it's my best attempt yet. I played around a little with some settings and pp and was able to get a moon photo I'm proud of. I'd really like a longer lens for these types of shots but my 80-200 will have to work for now.

thanks Fuzz. Great shots 159. Love that last one. Very nice FreakofSnow. Love the socks! I'm looking forward to when mine get a bit older and we can do a bit more together, but I'm also loving our time together right now. Trying to document it the best I can. I always wished I had more pictures from my childhood. I want to make sure my daughters have plenty
The rapeseed next to our house here in Germany. When the sun comes out, it is blinding! In the moonlight, it glows. I need to take a night picture next time the moon is out and it's clear.

Sunset shot from the other night, looking out towards RMNP and Longs Peak. I'm losing this view in eight days, hopefully we'll have a couple more good sunsets before we move.
