They had a rail jam in downtown Revy on Saturday so I went to take some pictures. Here's one:

I spend the whole day shooting a local ice fishing derby and feel no pics came out all that well. I should have been home studying I guess.

Looks like you had tough light conditions to work with. Still good composition. That fisrt shot doesn't look safe (water in the foreground).
I got a few pics of houses out on Lake Willoughby yesterday through the light snow/howling wind. I should have thrown my skates on and skated out for better pictures but the wind chill was nuts and I was sweaty after some BC skiing.

The ground blizzard made focusing hard.

I like these because they are straight out of the camera. We had amazing light for that first run last Thursday but then it was gone...still kicking myself for skipping the ski shots on that lap but I wanted to be a participant rather than an observer.

I like this one for the pristine snow and light and for the balance that the three groups of people give it. Too bad Flickr brings the clarity down so much.

Dude, YES! I dont normally quote pictures in a thread, but this is worth it. Straight up magnum style portrait. This might be the best photo I have seen posted in this photo/video talk forum.

Well if you think it deserves to be there then it will be. I've another beer (a barleywine) and photo I need to put over there so I'll put it over there when I do that.
