Seths have the rubber sole on bottom and active rubber foot bed. Love my full tilts.
I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

The difference of the liner. If they are the same, why the hell do they make half sizes? So are the full size liners shorter, thicker, really the exact same?

iirc, the half size liners are thinner. The shell itself is the same, so 26 and 26.5 are the same plastic but different liners. As far as I can tell, pretty much every company does this.

Do intuitions come in half sizes? If so you have your answer.

The liners are in full sizes only. The shells are too. And the boot boards are too.
So no idea how they make the 1/2 size but it doesn't really matter as the .0 or .5 pack out to be the same after heating. Or in a few days if you just ski them.
Make sure the shell fit is right and you will be fine with either

I was under the impression that full tilt was making thinner liners for the full tilt half sizes. Probably technically the same size liner, but a bit thinner.

When I order liners only from FT they only have the full sizes. Maybe that's all they stock in liner only? my store just orders the boots in the .5 so it feels like they fit bigger so I can down size people more easily

Bump. Recently broke my Raichle late 80's #11-12 flex tongues. Have some 90's style #10 flex race tongues that I've been using. Both with a plastic shank up top to increase the height. Size 25 boot. I've seen some statements on newschoolers that it's possible to use a larger size tongue on the boot, so in my instance I could use a M (26/27) or L (28/29) tongue on the boot to get more height and stiffness, which would be optimal. Has anyone tried this or has the parts to check this out? I don't have any M or L tongues to even try.

Found some size large (28-29) #10's at a local shop, will try them tomorrow and report back.

Got to try both the M (26-27) and L (28-29) #10 tongues on my size 25 boots. They were the exact same overall size as each other, taller and wider than my normal S sized tongues, and they both fit on my boot. The M felt about the same stiffness as my #10 S tongues, but a bit more substantial. The L was actually stiffer, from what I could tell, so I ended up with them. Did not hand flex them back to back, though comparing them on the boot the difference was pretty obvious. Definitely gives the boot a more substantial feel overlaping the lower shell more. So, if you're in a 26 or 27 shell, you should be able to try the size L tongue to get something stiffer.

I've searched Google pretty fucking hard and can't find the numbers anywhere, but I do rremember seeing this once upon a time:

How much forward lean (in degrees) does the full tilt have with the 4 mm shim in (the one that comes in the boot out of the box) was it 13? 14? 15? 17? Something else?
Do I detect a lot of anger flowing around this place? Kind of like a pubescent volatility, some angst, a lot of I'm-sixteen-and-angry-at-my-father syndrome?

    fuck that noise.

    gmen.
