Tales of the FKNA
I first found FKNA as graffiti on an arch in Bern, Switzerland about six years ago. The minute I saw it, I knew what it meant. That favorite saying ranging back to when I was a kid and still heard everywhere today. But the spelling, FKNA, it gripped me. I said right then and there, I'd put it on tee shirts. We have. And stickers (we're out, sorry). And we are also FKNA.com.
Then we put it on the 192 topsheet. Then we put it on the Lhasa Pow tops.
Then I got an email from someone who said they would only buy a pair of Lhasas if that wasn't on it. I was stunned. Has it become that commonly recognizable since FKNA was born here on TGR six years ago? I responded that since they were already selling like free hookers, there was no reason to for me to be inclined to accommodate his request. Did I do the right thing?
FKNA. I think so.
