^^^ I'm interested in hearing this as well. I've got the 09/10 S7s and was told that the sweet spot is 0 or -2.

The 188's ski great at +3 I've never had any problems even in super deep powder and they are super maneuverable everywhere.

I mounted my 08/09's at +3. Loved them. Then they sidewall exploded and I was sent the 09/10's. I had those mounted at +3 as well. I don't love it as much. I almost feel as though they are too far forward. Get sent over the bars a bit when I drive the ski. I hate remounting my skis but may move them back to +1.5.
We will see.

Compared to my ARG the 0 line (recommended) line seems good. Otherwise way too little ski up front. The current review is these skis look sick sitting on my wall rack. Nice curvy flex, great colors and rocker.
MFR recomeneded is recommended, so what do I know............I need to go to Utah.

Bump... anyone get their 09/10's mounted yet? I'm thinking I'll go with the "0" line.

Mount lines on skis are often just considered part of the graphic, and therefore aren't always perfect or the same. Use this:

I didn't really read anything stating otherwise, so I had mine mounted today at the "0" line. I'll report back on how they perform once we get some worthy snow.

Third hand info says that's where Sage rides his S7's.
What did you mount them with?

... Once again, Zo coming through. Too bad everyone can't just download the pdf he put up, think as an individual what you want this ski to do for you and then mount - no questions asked!! Instead of posting up beauty salon non-sense

I'm not hardcore like everyone else on here, so I mounted them with some measly Rossi SAS 110s. I've had good luck with them in the past, and they're cheap.

matt,
I am supposed to get my super 7's in a month (heard that last year as well). Everyone i saw mounted +3 looked way too forward. No tip whatsoever. I never skied em, but i will be mounting center or a one or two behind FYI

I had a buddy riding Super 7s last season. Originally he had them on 0 line and liked them but remounted at +3 and loved them more. Said they were more manageable and versatile and still had zero tip dive issues in pow, said he could still ski them forward in pow. So again, +3 was the money line for him and he charges, don't know how much switch he was skiing if any, but I imagine he was because he can but still more big mountain oriented than freestyle. I talked to him about this a month ago before he went to CR. It is quite a centered mount considering +6 is ski center.

Is the Super 7 still really playful? I was thinking of picking up the 188's as a quick turning pow/tree ski, but can probably only get my hands on the 195. Already have a 185 Mothership, would it be too similar (quickness wise)? I am 6'1", 180. Any thoughts?
Thanks

How can you only get the super limited release version, but not the very plentiful retail 188?

Work at a shop and can special order them, but all they have left for a deal are the 76's and 95's. The 88's sold out super fast

The 195 S7s will probably be more soft snow oriented than your Motherships. You could use the S7s for new snow and deeper days and the Motherships for everyday. If I were doing it, I would probably look for the 188s though and use them on storm days when you can't see and use the Motherships for going fast. Either way, you're probably good.
