fuck you man, im so jelous. ive only been to california, and only really surfed one day. down in santa cruz, pretty nice place. it really different then nj because waves are more rideable, even on the small stuff you can still throw around a few slashes and curves. here in nj, its just like blah, even on a good day one slash or cutback per ride. but tuffy, i jelous

i just came back from North Carolina earlier today, Carolina Beach to be exact. It was SWEET, intense to under exaggerate!!!!!!!!!!! Tomorrow we got the new jersey lineup, hopefully this will stick up. i was out there later in the day 3-6 oclock today, and that was even killer. Down in belmar it was nice as nice, not as good as NC though.
Gonzo, good luck in RI. I know a few people there and they said there was a frame waves coming in. hey, u close so enter the red bull ice break. i always wanted to enter that, but it too far for a competition. anyway, good luck man. well both need it! and watch out for them rip tides, in hurricanes the currents are insane and even the turbitury currents whisk you away

does ckb know that she's your "buddy"?
hope there's something for you tomorrow. I would try to make sure that as much water as possible drains out of your nose when you walk in the office, then if anyone looks at you weird, just shrug mumble something about the commute through "damn hurricane".

Looks like the swell has arrived in NH. I can't make it up there until Saturday morning, though. If anyone gets up there today or tomorrow, be sure to report in. It's nothing huge, but still looks fun.

thats from jersey, mantolooking or whatever they call it. the surf was was pretty fun today. only one problem, every beach was crowded. and then you got these surfers that dont know what the hell they are doing and drop in on your wave your paddling into, and its ridiculous. then, when they are taking the waves they cant even turn their freakin board and got spill and then make a big ordeal over it. they think they are good, but dont know shit. this is why nj beaches suck, beginners that dont know ediquite or what the fuck they are doing. they even are in the beaches at 5 in morning, so it sucks. i come in early with my buds, and theres these 10 year old kids trying to catch waves, cant even stand up on their board. hahaha. this was gettin on my nerves today, so i thought i post my ordeal. anyway back on topic, i still got pictures of urfing in the hurricane, but i got to find a buddy with a scanner. dont got digi cam
