315 mm boot sole length, What size Marker Duke / Barron?
I'm sure this has been asked before, but for the life of me, I can't seem to find it or am too damn lazy to read through all the posts (likely both).
I general I have heard to go with the smallest size possible (this was more in regards to the Naxo / Fritschi bindings). As my boot sole length pretty much splits the difference, I'm wondering if this is as important for the Duke / Barron.
For reference: Small 265-320, Large 305-370
The other question for those that own them, is there any adjustability of the binding for different boot sizes. I.e. my brother wears a boot that is 325 and he would like to use these skies (Praxis hybrid recurve, when they finally ship) also. This is the only real reason I'm even considering going to the large binding rather than small...

Small will have better transmission of powers between boot and ski. If you both want to use skis then go large. If only you go small.

I guess the real question, is how much performance am I giving up by going with large rather than small?

Resale will be easier with the large. Bother can't use the small (that might be a good thing).
I have a similar boot size and went large so others can use them.

Small will actually fit up to 327 boot safely.

I had the same questions with 317 mm. Don't know how big of a difference 2 mm makes. But as per marshal's advise, I went with the Larges. Something about the performance of the binding, proper releasing, etc...I will try to find it...

Kind of like a pubescent volatility, some angst, a lot of I'm-sixteen-and-angry-at-my-father syndrome?
fuck that noise.
