It looks like I might be skiing Snowbowl on sunday, should I be bringing rock skis or nice skis?

Bring both, take the rock skis up, and if it seems safe to you, put on the nice ones, then catch a razor back and rip a huge core shot. Snowbowl, it's the whole point of p-tex.

I skied nice skis yesterday, and they're still nice. If you feel like getting more adventurous and perhaps poaching a little something, bring the rock skis.

You are the core definition of a JONG.

    More importantly.

I am your antijinx - I'm leaving the country on Saturday, which means that its bound to start dumping here soon.

Hopefully my jinxing doesn't carry over to Japan. I really want it to start dumping there right now.

Well, we officially jinxed the shit out of that "storm". (Not complaining, just observing)

True, I wish it had been all it was made out to be, but I skied some blower today (while occasionally bouncing off the bottom). Coverage ain't much, but the snow is good.

The end of the day sign-out-run down Upper Griz yielded some fluffitude, while also producing some p-tex reshaping.

Hoodoo basin was very good yesterday. There's a lot more snow up there than I had anticipated.

The Bowl is improving every day. We poached East Bowl today and it was great up top, sucked ass down low but it was worth it for knee deep fluffiness.

    It snowed all day.

Oh, and Rasputin..that was me in case you were wondering.

how much new? i heard 8" and the report said 2". i knew that was bull.

FWIW, lookout still had knee deep freshies on sunday left over from thursday's storm. balls cold and uncrowded. one more storm and it should be money. i guess that goes for every resort.

That 2" was from during the day yesterday. I bet another 4-6" fell between the dumb 5:30 am snow report and closing.

When did snowbowl start under reporting new snow? What's next "we didn't plow or sand the road."

snowbowl was the good today. The joys of not having a season pass is poaching bowl runs.
