holy crap duders thanks for the wishes....yes, it was my knee that twisted and popped (different one than the one I hurt in Heart). this morning its swollen but not too bad and thankfully I can put weight on it and such. I'm guessing its just a sprain and will now RICE the shit out of it.....damn, when I heard the pop or crack last night I got the crap scared out of me. hopefully dodged a bullet here.

I'm lighting my incense, clanging the finger cymbals and spinning the prayer wheel: I really hope this is minor. Chip up dood.

07-30-2004, 11:30 AM #32carefull tyrone. when i did mine at alta last year, i had a pop, but little pain, it mostly just felt wierd. i was able to ski on it the rest of the run (last run of the day, typical), felt achy genral pain. it had been snowing for three days and the next day, monday march 1, was due to be blubird with a fuckload of openings, castle, backside among others. i went back to the pad and told myself, if you can ski at all you have to- it will be one of the sickest days of the year. so i did my own stability tests, and it felt not great, but not like a floppy door hinge. i was able to do a one leg squat to about 90 degrees of flextion. so i decided to go for it. borrowed a hinged sleeve brace, wraped her up and went for it.Originally posted by Tyrone Shoelaces

Hope it's not as serious as it sounds.

Ty - I'm only gonna tell you this one more time: You should let Kate work on you. Total turnaround guaranteed.
And if I were you, I'd be getting some prolo therapy on those knees before you lose one skiing this season. Insurance will probably cover all of this.

07-30-2004, 04:01 PM #38That sh*t made horribly sick to my stomach and didn't seem to reduce the swelling any. In the span of 2-3 hours, I think I threw up 6 times from that stuff. Works for some, god-awefully terrible for others. Be wary.Originally posted by Walter Sobchak
Heal up! And ask for some Vioxx - it's a wonder drug for these kinds of things.
