It's beer. It's cheap. Figure it out yet?

Tastes better then Miller Lite, and is cheap as fuck. God bless it.

It's the least offensive cheap beer out there, and it's better than much of the mass produced swill that costs a little more. PBR, Old Style (cuz I'm a Cubs fan), or a dark beer (usually a porter or pale ale) is my preference.

Last year it cost $2 for a PBR at the base of Crested Butte and the same on the mountain at T-Ride. For that price, no way I was drinking anything else. Anyway despite resisting the PBR craze for the last few years the hook was finally set, I liked it, it has a cool can, and that's pretty much the only lager I drank this summer. When your spending $4 a gallon on fuel and looking to save a few dollars PBR fits the bill.

When I want to pretend the economy is still steaming forward at 30 knots I still drink the various offerings from New Glarus and Leinenkugel.

I kind of thought the big obsession in ski towns was related to the founders of PBR owning a ski resort and generally supporting the sport? To be honest, I had never drank a PBR in my life until I started hanging out at ski resorts...you would never see PBR on tap or for sale back east (except maybe in Vermont ski towns..)

I think it is skiing thing myself.

    Is that so.

People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

It's pretty good cold, but I prefer Miller High Life in the $.50/beer category.

I used to like it. Then while I was a few pitchers in somebody stated "I only drink PBR when I want my beer to taste like pennies were floating in it".

Sure enough, suddenly all I could taste was a copper.

    Now, I can't drink it.

I read that as "I only drink PBR when I want my beer to taste like penises were floating in it'. I had to do a double take on that one.
