Mounting Point for Bro 164s
We took my wife's 164 Bros into the shop to get mounted and the shop person noted how far back the mounting point was. It did look a bit far back, even for a unisex mount. We compared them to a pair of 168 Kikus, which measure about the same length and the Kikus were about 3cm forward, which makes me think the Bros are in the right spot as the Kikus are women's skis.
Anyone have any thoughts on where to mount the Bro 164s for a woman? I am thinking about 2.5cm forward of the line.

My wife has a pair of 164s. They're mounted 6mm forward of the line and she is happy with that placement. I think 2.5 cm is too far forward; they'll still ski fine, but their top end will be a bit compromised. If she likes to go fast I would go with the 6mm. My wife was skiing PR before the Bros and she was mounted on the forward line for park skiing. She didn't have any problem adjusting to the Bros other than hyperventilating because she was skiing so much faster.

Why all the questions about were to mount BROs? They come with midsole marks on them.

We think the Euro versions are a bit too far back. Of course, how far makes it a highly debatable subject based on the subjective experiences of those wo have moved theirs. I think erica z mounted hers forward 1/5 cm. Maybe she'll chime in.
I think 1.5 cm might be the max they should be moved forward.

Thanks. We are going for 1.5cm. See how that works - I will report back. (That is, if it ever snows in WA.)
