Although I love the puffy, for those other days, the ones with lots of hiking, it’s nice to have a jacket that’s lightweight, warm, and comfortable. The Sedition III is one of my favorite jackets of all time. The material has a slight stretch to it but is far from your normal soft shell. While it’s only a three layer shell it’s surprisingly warm and keep out the toughest of conditions to keep you dry, warm, and performing at an optimal level.
