FKS 155 afd availability
Here's the deal. I found a great deal on some fks 155's (black and gold ones) on craigslist and sent the guy a check yesterday. I just took a closer look at the crappy photos and noticed that one of the afd's (just the white teflon part) is missing. I emailed the guy and he confirmed that the afd is in fact missing.
My question is: Should I stop payment on the check and tell him to keep the bindings, or will I be able to find the part I need easily and inexpensively?
note: This is in tech talk and not gear swap because I'm not necessarily seeking the part yet, just checking availability so I can make a decision quickly.

yep they were pretty common parts on most older salomon bindings so you should be able to find some dumpster skis and pry them off. if that fails teflon stock is pretty easy to come by.

yea just find the dimensions necesary and buy some teflon to go there, or go to a shop they might have some.

I have the exact same problem with my pair of 180pros.
It looks to me like the AFD is a separate part, bolted on under the toepiece, and from what I've seen any of the look P or PX series, and almost all of the rossignol toes have very similar and possibly compatible AFD parts.
