Couple different kinds of Trigger grips. There is the kind that has what you might call a "hand holster" and releases at the connect point on top of the grip. There is the normal yellow velcro strap (my fav) that also releases the same way (this year.)
The release mechanism releases to easily, in my opinion. Lean on your straps in the liftline? They'll release.
Buy the poles, try them this winter and if you hate the release you can buy $3 epoxy to epoxy the release mechanism in place so it won't release.
Awesome poles, apart from my personal dislike of the Trigger system.vapor lock - bitch.

got the holster system and love it, different strokes for different folks I guess
For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was

Being a slut does not necessitate dishonesty. Leki has a bunch of other grip styles besides the Trigger. I have used at least 3 other Leki grips and loved them all. Furthermore, I think their poles kick ass.

I got a pair of Lekis last year and I have to say they're the best poles I've ever owned. I bought the Titanium poles, and they came with the trigger. I do like it, but they do release a little too easily. It's not terrible, but you do have to kinda be aware of your hands when you're just standing around so that you don't release them on accident.
If you don't like them, all of their trigger poles come with normal straps too (which you can then glue in if you want). So be sure to ask the shop for those. Leki ships every pair of triggers with both straps, so don't let a salesperson say the normal straps cost extra. That's bs, but I could see it happening."I knew in an instant that the three dollars I had spent on wine would not go to waste."

Got 'em.. jury's still out though.
I like *skiing* with them... but I hate having the attachment on my glove at all times. Pain in the arse trying to carry things being that the little plastic thing is right in the palm of your hand (for obvious reasons).

Just ordered the Fusions. To think I almost bought a pair the other day for 20 bucks more.
