Thumbs up Skegg's 7/14 and a horseshoe up my ass

Fun Skegging with Spats this evening. Yes, evening. The days are getting shorter, and sure enough, Ranger Friendly herded us out of the trailhead shortly after 9pm...too bad- the "riding by Braille" would have been more fun than dodging headlights on the road back to the lot.

Did the usual loop. Felt good on the bike but was out of breath much faster, after a 2 week hiatus. Spats was trying out his new armor. Everything was cool until I decided to hit the DH part of BB trail without touching the brakes..... halfway down I lost it and headed off the trail into the steeps. I then proceeded to nut myself, get thrown over the handle bars, land flat on my back in a rut sliding head first, back to the ground, before coming to a complete stop wedged between a rut, hoping that Spats was not right behind me....I managed to pick my shit up in time to see Spats own it.

I love the ass-haul section....so bumpy your eyeballs are bouncing around in their sockets....peripheral vision is lost as you focus on what's straight ahead, and not getting killed

The horseshoe in the ass part of the ride was getting back to the dark parking lot....I then realized that I left my window all the way down....expecting the worst, I yanked the door open to find....

Horseshoe up your ass...that's an odd comment. Speaking from experience?

also i'd say we should all give WSD some props for bringing mad positive karma to the maggots. it's amazing that tag watch didn't grow legs.
