John McCain will be your next president.
It's been nice knowing you..."Active management in bear markets tends to outperform. Unfortunately, investors are not as elated with relative returns when they are negative. But it does support the argument that active management adds value." -- independent fund analyst Peter Loach

Can't find a youtube yet, but you can watch the video of Colbert here. Very. good. stuff! If some of the best times of my life were skiing the UP in -40 wind chill with nothing but jeans, cotton long johns and a wine flask to keep warm while sleeping in the back of my dad's van... does that make me old school?

Cliff, you're consistent in your douchebaggery........still don't know why a Canadian cunt like yourself would care so much about another countries politics....
Cliff, you posted this thread in complete confidence, right?
I'll bet you $100 that Obama will be our next president.
Put your money where your mouth is, or have us all not respect any of your future posts. (like we do now lol)

Don't give a rat's arse = don't care.
Couldn't give a fuck = don't care
Could give a fuck = you DO care.
Why do so many people get this wrong these days? It changes the meaning of the entire statement.

I know the opinion polls don't mean shit, but with the gap between Obama and McCain closing at this stage, I think that bodes quite well for John McCain. If I were a betting man I might even take blurred up on that bet but I'd rather blow that $100 on poker!

You need 270 electoral votes to win. With 2 weeks to go, Obama has a COMFORTABLE (5+ percentage points) lead in enough states to get him 280electorial votes. McCain has 151. Do you think that many states are going to not just break McCain was, but reverse and swing McCain's way? It's just not going to happen. When you figure in the tied and weakly supporting states its Obama 364, McCain 171. The hole is too deep for McCain to dig out of. Unless something drastic happens, it's over. This is the worst pain EVER!

Great. Now you can add money laundering to the list of charges.
However, there is a way around it for the trivial amounts you pikers are talking about:
Post opposing bets on the Iowa Electronic Markets Presidential Election Market. Limit is $500.
Since the prices are adjusted for the odds (currently $87 Obama, $12 McCain), it won't even be such an obvious waste (compared to the even-odds bets offered here).
