BTW - I have an Albright extra large arbor 7/8 reel and so far I am very happy with it, considering I got it for under a hundred bucks at STP.

Hmmm........
Edit...
Trigger = pulled on the 5 piece 6wt. With shipping my total was 36 bucks.

BTW, if the Albright direct sale does not have exactly what you are looking for, STP has a bunch of Albright rods and gear right now:

Wow! Thanks for the heads up! I have been debating for years about whether or not to get a bigger 8/9 weight setup for my occasional foray into bigger waters. Just pulled the trigger for an 8/9 weight rod and an 8/9 weight reel for under $70 bucks. I have spent way more than that in rentals!

My 6wt arrived today, complete with a tube.
Excellent deal for $36. I am going to give it a try this weekend.
Thanks again, bio-smear!
edit: wow, I think everybody in this thread bought something from this sale. Maybe Albright will hook the maggots up again in the future...
