7/13/99 the first set is what I hope to hear every night. Pure awesome. Haley's->Roses, plus an off the handle Carini and Reba. Just fucking fire.

But, that was it for "Great Woods->Tweeter Center->Great Woods-> Comcast Center->Xfiniti Center". Phish's shows since that show have been duds. And, if one yooze comes in here and starts talking about Dr. Gable or whatever the fuck terrible song they debuted there a few years back....uggh...

sweet! thanks for the link. where does cmiller put his phish stuff? is there a page on the spreadsheet for his remasters? or maybe bt.etree? haven't been out there in a while, as i've been using phishtracks and my library for listening.

I'll be honest, I don't really chase Charlie's remasters. I happened upon this one on bt.etree and it sounded nice compared to Dave Flashner's Schoeps and the other Schoeps sources out there. I think that I have listened to every source that was present for both of these shows and this one sounds the best.

soooooooooooooo, Hawaii festival? From the announcement vid:

    -translated paper mentions Hawaii
-helicopter lands on 10 (festival 10)
-The flame as the paper is burning takes the shape of some of the islands

Anyone have a friend on Oahu that may be privy to information? Kualoa Ranch on the windward coast may be the spot (12k capacity for concerts with camping)

Wooks would build rafts out of logs and use their dreads as sail rigging attempting to cross the Pacific. Their only supplies would be shasta soft drinks and uncooked hot dogs. As fozzy mentioned, sharks would then attack their boats releasing several gallons of liquid LSD into the ocean. Who regularly swims waters off of coastal california? Whales. These whales would become crazed by the massive amount of LSD in their blowholes and jeopardize the entire shipping industry. Intra-global commerce would cease to be.

what did you expect? mail order for summer is asking for lawns to ditch before you find your pavs....plus PTBM sucks in general from my experience. 1/10 good seats, maybe..

GW is the worst venue in history from a tailgating standpoint. I'll be there in all likelihood. Who's got my pav?

i always hold out hope that the lotto hooks me with 'pit' level seating at SPAC, and i always get hosed.
and you're right, i'll try to score 'pavs' on friday, paying twice and end up giving tickets to my friends for next to nothing.
it will be the last time i PTBM summer shows.
i scored the Hartford floor ticket, from last fall from PTBM, and that was one of the best 'floors' i've ever been on. my luck with PTBM has been pretty good.
and yeah, GW is the worst summer shed on the tour, fucking hate that place.

I am still debating even attending. I won't go if I don't have a decent Pav. The concrete lawn and grass lawn both suck whale ass

Seeing them tomorrow night at higher ground, sounds like it should be a good show!

Mass MoCA was incredible, that place pretty much saved that scary old mill town.
it's become a full on 'artist's colony', including all the smoking hot art school women, wow!
jam heavy show, Andelman's Yard opener, set the tone early.
everything was stretched out a bit longer.
huge open GA floor only, hall. Miss You cover to close the first set was
    full on dance crack.
Mississippi has become my favorite tune from the MGB, and they crushed it.
    Yarmouth Road encore went deep.

    official vid, good stuff!

Hopefully the people that went for phish find out what's there instead of ruminating over what wasn't.
