No crazy story, my sister and Fishman have been friends forever. I *think* this was from some 'Sun City' protest at UVM waaaay back, but I forget.

last night was wicked fun! the middle of the first set was smokin'. 'she caught the katy' is page phunk, followed by wolfman's and, the new tom marshall tune 'pigtail' which is a keeper. and then 'stash', phun stuff. my first 'carini' and it was loud! 'hood' and 'bug' were amazing also. they nailed the 'hood'. just a really well played show throughout. love 'The Phish from Vermont'

Bought the NYE's webcast last night. Got it all setup to watch through the HDTV in stereo. Have some friends coming over. Couch tour rules!

Nice...are you able to record the cast?

I'll be seeing all 3 nights and was thinking of getting the webcast to record but don't have the smarts or tech skills to set up a timed recording.

    sec 129, row K all 3 nights -

I've heard it's possible, but like you, I'm not sure how to do it. Hopefully just get a copy from someone.

I had a lot more problems with the stream on 12/30 than last night. It took a while for the video feed to load, but we saw the whole show, and it didn't freeze up like it did continuously on 12/30. WOW that was awesome last night. DWD>Ghost, YEManteca, The most insane Meatstick evarrr... The flying hot dog brought back memories of Big Cypress... I'm just so stoked right now. I can't wait for tonight.

Let me count the ways in which this couch tour thing is awesome:

    1. I didn't have to go through security, instead I entered the show from my kitchen.
    2. 50cent PBRs instead of $10.00 bud lights.
    3. Private bathroom, no waiting.
    4. Watching Page's hands play the keyboards.
    5. No tall people standing in from of me.
    6. Soundboard feed.
    7. A neat glass of George T. Stagg during the first set.
    8. No undercover cops.
    9. Getting to see the first set again after the show.
    10. Slept in my own bed and woke up in Jackson Hole!

Its not really couch tour, its more like "my living room is a crazy place to be!" Its not quite like being there, but its pretty awesome.

    anybody record the webcast?

another great MSG run by Phish. It's a toss up betw last night 1st set and NYE set 2 as the best set (for me) but overall the boys were very crisp & sharp. It was no '95 NYE but it was fun.

Yeah if any of you guys actually managed to record these webcasts and would like to hook a brother up, it'd be greatly appreciated.

I got to see the 12/30 & 12/31 webcasts and had zero issues with the stream quality. Being married with a kiddo, I don't get to travel for shows the way I used to, so I think webcasting a show is a great idea. It's the next best thing to actually being there. Two BIG thumbs up for Couch Tour 2010!

Couch tour New years was kick ass, We managed to catch all three nights of phish on webcast, both nights of panic on audio stream, and the Flaming Lips webcast. We had so much fun on new years eve at the house we decided to not even go out. Hooray Couch tour!

YEMTECA!!!!!!!!! Trey is laughing his ass off about 12 min into this vid followed by pure gordo funk

    what a sick run...

I am lucky enough to see this band often and this run was hands down the most clean and fresh sounding of 3.0

the 1st night cities opener set the mood for the run... highlights were
    camel walk>maze
    tweezer>light
    boogie>2001

NYE was just a fucking dance party... and im glad they saved that 1st set ending with a ripping R&R beacuse I think that "gone" song just blows.. set 2 the setlist speaks for it self
After the meatstick throwdown they rip right into after midnight... super high energy

set 2 of 1/1/11.... some of best phish jaming in a long time! 6 songs all heat with the shortest song being 8 min. along with a filthy makasupa

had sick seats every night and was with great friends. did not want it to end. Summer tour should be fun hope for some good west coast dates. Watkins glen fest on 4th sounds like a go.

That meatstick was about the most outrageous thing ever. Was wondering where a 20 min MS could go. Never could've predicted that. Wow

^actually, you should consider yourself lucky if he breaks out the electrolux. these moments don't happen that much anymore. he did a few laps and we loved every minute. is he the most underrated drummer ever? i think he's the best evah!

i'll be at Great Woods. hoping for Meadows and SPAC in the second half!
