    Maine rules!
awesome trip Down East, stayed at the enchanting Bucksport Motor Inn, in Bucksport.
Lobster rolls and cold beer. great little town.
got to Bangor in time to catch the second half of the soundcheck.
the venue needs work, getting in and out was ugly.
it was also, really muddy and wet, the closer you got.
the show was killer, first set Wolfmans and Mikes>Silent>Paug, tasty!
i loved every minute of the second set.
    SPAC tomorrow!

I wholeheartedly disagree. Good times, sure, but musically, it left much to be desired. The band is lacking a certain cohesion to which I am accustomed. It was lost for some time, but following last summer's tour, it appeared to be back. Well, Bangor, SPAC 1, and SPAC 2, certainly were a regression. On the whole, those shows have absolutely zero relisten value. SPAC 3, there was a glimmer of hope. Hopefully, SeaWorld will step in a put the whale back in captivity.

even BDTNL? (actually a great jam in ME)

Bangor was a great, straight forward show. People want big songs and bustouts and thats not what you are getting on the tour opener

BDTNL, good god man! Okay, Trey can rip this song, but I would not say that Bangor is by any means a standout version. If you are suggesting the show's awesomeness hangs on a BDTNL, yikes!

I will, however agree with you about the tour opener status of the show, but that fails to explain the piss that was SPAC 1 and SPAC 2.

Poor Toronto. What will they get? Oh, let me tell you:

I am expecting a terrible and unfortunately long song about a fucking pig! Goddammit!

This will only be made worse by a blue-ballsy version of Halleys.

    Mark it!

    AND...

We cannot forget about Possum. Let's all sing along to this one-dimensional waste of 9 mins, shall we?

understand your pain, but I believe it will subside. Trey missed WAY too many cues over the past 4 shows. but i am willing to accept them for those peak moments that are so ever present.

    i was at SPAC 1 and 3.
i thought both were great shows.
new gordo tune is like Sugar Shack part deux, which is a good thing!
other first night nuggs, BOAF they need to play this one more.
a dirty MYFE, Cities>Bowie to end the set, all good.
and the second set is $$$ from the get go.
i'm a sucker for positive Trey, Energy>Light is nice!
for me the 46 days>Steam is as good as it gets.
last night was killer start to finish.
BOTT and WOTC were both great.
    disease>ghost>piper, yeah!
the sound is way loud and crisp this summer, and CK5 has never looked better to me.
SPAC was way mellower with the cops this year, good times!

Hands on a Hard Body? You can't be serious...

And Butterflake, you enjoyed the new cover Energy? It made me throw up in my mouth a little...

I will not, repeat, will not be wearing my ironically tattered flannel shirt, non-prescription large frame eyeglasses, and skinny jeans to shows...ever. And, with that being said, I cannot accept my once favorite band polluting my auditory processing with that hipster trash.

Do you wear a costume to shows?

Are you wearing a fresh 2013 summer tour t-shirt right now?

Do you like glitter, outside of when it is applied on strippers' tits and buttholes?

Fishman dress how'd you guess? Saw a guy in ME that was wearing a fish dress but had it cut at an angle to make it look "sexy". Fucking strange looking guy.

Yes to glitter. No matter how its applied. And glow sticks. And I talk and clap and sing loudly at shows.

And the world is made of energy
    and the world is electricity
and the world is made of energy
and there's a light inside of you
and there's a light inside of me.

And the world is made of energy
    and the world is synchronicity
and the world is made of energy
and there's a light inside of you
and there's a light inside of me.

    Chorus:
    It’s gonna be all right
It’s gonna be all right uh huh yeah.
    We’re gonna see the sunlight
We’re gonna see the sunlight uh huh yeah.

good kid actually. i talked to him on the 'mini' shakedown.
the whole outfit was sick! socks, Chuck T's and those shades!
it was a one off, we saw him at SPAC in civilian attire, and he was completely normal.
the kid and his girlfriend were stoked we recognized him!

i told you i was a sucker for Trey cheeze!
    i actually fucking hate gamehendge.
i hope they never play Harpua ever again.
