    Touching the Void

Sorry if this is a rerun - I thought there might have been a thread on it but couldn't find it.

This movie truly tripped me out. Gave me nightmares. If you like adventure/survival stories - check it out.

Two climbers do a first ascent of a 21000 peak in the Andes and things go quite wrong. The re-enactment of it is eery (and maybe slightly cheesy), but truly intense.

    crazy story.

Seriously - that was my thought exactly...

here's a website where you can check out a video called "The Making of Touching the Void". That alone is worth watching - amazing what they did to make this movie.

Read the book, This Game of Ghosts, by the same author. Awesome story teller.

Saw it a few days ago and it does give you that sick feeling in your stomache. It's a must see if you are in the B/C a lot.

Read the book, saw the movie. They are both really good.
The book held more suspense and horror.
The movie was good because it painted a better picture of the actual location and mountain.
