Official Jackson Hole Summit 2005 Dates
Since this got buried in the first thread, I thought I'd start another. These dates seem to work the best for most people. If we need further debate, let's do it here.
Friday, February 4th through Monday, February 14th.
Some reasons why these dates are good:
1. No holiday conflicts
2. No SIA trade show conflicts
3. No Euro Summit conflicts
4. TGR Crew likes these dates -Having spent time with TGR this weekend early February is definately thier best time for the summit. It was even slightly hinted that some of the "pros" (in addition to the TGR staff pros) might be in Jackson at that time.TGR Office is Stoked
We are fully stoked for all you maggots to come taste the wealth of a bad ass February storm dumping the likes of 2ft on our playland we call home. Ahhh Yeeeaaaa were waiting.

Mardi Gras at the Mangy Moose? Oh fuck yeah!
I am officially down like a clown. Let's get down, boogie, and rip some fat flakes!!! This may very well be the best 9 days of my life (so far)
.
I'll be unable to make it, but will be trolling around the area during january.

Yep woodsy, currently figuring out what will work out best for january. Current possibilities are:
1)live in car and chase storms from dec 28-feb3
2)base operations in whitefish mt, ski mostly at Big Mtn with frequent trips north of border(Ive got free couch for month)
3)Sublet a place in UT for a month and ski there
If Solitude is looking for employment for the month of january let me know...

I'm down. Echo comments on waiting for confirmation from frozen. I know this is all max-goosey-ish, but I'd prefer to book my flight ASAP only because place tix are usually cheaper the farther out you book 'em. For the most part. Anyway, it's always exciting to think about the next big trip, that's for sure.

Ouch. People are using me as a philisophical insult. Again, ouch.
Edit: one "o" in Gosey.
Oh, and I kinda like your name better with two of them there o's. But that's just me.
Oh, and roo...I don't really like clowns. Not a clown kind of kid, myself, you know? Although, evil clowns are kind of cool.

Of course, I'm in. I'll put my time of request form in my boss's "in box" tomorrow.
Divegirl - why not drive it? Here's some Sacto to Jackson Hole 1-way info from Mapquest.com :That would be about $100 in gas RT if you split it two ways. Travelocity gave a quote of $343 RT w/ a stop at SLC. Orbitz said $627 w/ stops in SLC and Denver. Something to think about...Total Est. Time: 13 hours, 59 minutes Total Est. Distance: 843.25 miles

Definitely. However, I'm always really excited to fly, and from what I've heard, sometimes your car won't start in JH due to the cold weather. So, I figure I'll thumb it from the JH airport. I plan on being there at least 5 days.Originally posted by Ubersheist
