Thread: "Fringe"

Anyone? JJ Abrams' (Lost, Alias) new show on Fox is smarter than I expected, and Anna Torv is one of the hotter Gingers on TV....

I thought the pilot was a derivative, confusing cluster of two or three X-Files plots, episode 2 is waiting on tivo. I'd like to see them get this right, so I'll keep watching for at least a few more episodes.

I can't see Lance Reddick without thinking of Lt. Daniels from The Wire, no matter how many other shows (Lost) they cast him in. Anna Torv is hot, and I was pleased they came up with an excuse to have her strip down to her underwear in the first episode.

Broyle's character needs serious fixing. Dialogue needs help too. Basically, the show needs to show rather than tell.

As in, don't talk about what a genius Dawson's Creek boy is, but show it in the dialogue and in his actions. Don't talk too much about "the pattern" without fulfilling its authenticity with the viewer.

Hoping it gets worked out. Terminator's first few episodes sucked but it recovered by the end of the season into a consistent show. Hopefully Fringe finds its way too.

And Anna Torv is the hotness, yes.

I dig it. Hope they can make it work. Seems like a lot of people I know aren't down for getting into another show with a huge plot, twisted plot line.

And agreeing that Anna Torv is hot as well.

Some really far fetched crap but fun twists, not the most riveting but better than most of the drivel on.

The dad keeps asking if he has to keep the subject alive I like that.

pretty good show how much longer till you thick fox will cancel it and replace it with "Dancing with news anchors"
