how to make Palin a non issue
quit fucking talking about her. the GOP plan is working and the VP candidate is up staging the election. The Obama campaign needs to shift gears and forget she exists. The more people hear Obama talk about change and the economy the better.

psssttttt
when was the last time the obama campaign talked about her?
Sorry dude, your advice comes a full week after they implemented it.
We're still talking about her pink flamingos though."It is not the result that counts! It is not the result but the spirit! Not what - but how. Not what has been attained - but at what price.

Izzat fair game? It sounds awful mean to pick on somebody's defenseless little economy ... I mean, every economy has problems now and then.

I'd love to see some sort of plan on Obama's part to fix that mess. If Obama really is smart he'll be talking specifics about how he plans to get us back on track and reassuring us all the he's the man with a plan rather than sitting around telling us how bad the GOP sucks; like we don't already know.
I'd really like to see Obama throw down some leadership qualities, rise above the shit slinging and start driving the bus. So far he seems to be getting stuck in the muck with the rest of em.

Wouldn't that be refreshing? I wouldn't mind seeing that from either camp. An actually plan could possible get me to ignore a certain bad VP choice we are not allowed to talk about by the TGR gurus.
Of course either camp would need a plan, and my guess is neither of them have the slightest idea how to get out of this mess.

That's unpossible for the average librodouche. They're obsessed. The scapegoat of their Bush Derrangement Syndrom is going away in four months. They need somebody else to blame for everything that goes wrong in their lives. Palin is literally a godsend for the avrerage frustrated, hate-filled librodouche. Not only is she an goddamned evil Republican, but she's also the archetypal Middle-American who the libdouches hate so much. She's better than Satan.

So we're quitting talking about her by starting new threads in a forum about how we're going to quit talking about her?
The next thread should be: OK, this time we're really going to stop talking about Palin
I bet that'll do the trick.

I'm totally with Powder11 on this one.
Seriously, most of you tools are fucking obsessed with her. OBSESSED.
I look at this election as voting for McCain, or voting for Obama.
Who here is talking about Biden? Nobody. Know why? Cuz it doesn't fucking matter who the VP is. (no McCain isn't going to die in office either, so get over that too)
If people started posting every fucking thread here about Biden, wouldn't that be obsession?
Get over her and focus on the issues.Watch the seventh episode of

i agree with the rest of your post, but after cheney (aka shitweasel) spent 8 years as veep, i think we owe it to ourselves to start paying more attention to what the veep candidates say & do.
palin really is a non-issue at this point, but a lot of the fucktards out there just won't let it go.Balls Deep in the 'Ho

I have to disagree, Palin is an issue. Not the most important issue, and actually well down the list, but an issue none the less. We all know Obama is weak on foreign policy, not totally uninformed, but it is not his strong point. So he chooses Biden, who has as much or more FP experience then most in Washington, certainly more then anybody in Alaska. So it shows good judgment on his part. Now look at McCains pick, and forget FP issues for now, because it is obvious she has none, but what does she bring to the ticket? She brings the evangelic, neoconservative right. She platform of reform, is not so much about reform, as it is getting rid of people in her way. What does this say about McCain? That he is a Maverick and going to change Washington, or that he is going to cave into the neo-cons at the first opportunity?
So it is not so much about Palin herself, even though she is a joke, but about McCain and how he is going to lead this country if elected.
Personally I had hopes for McCain, but he has just about destroyed any hope for me at this point. And yes the VP spot is no where near the importance of POTUS, but as pointed out above Chaney did a pretty good job fucking us all for the last eight years. so it is not a position of no significance. Fortunately I think Palin would be totally useless as VP, but I dread the thought of having to listen to that horrid voice of hers for four more years.
