    vancouver/Canada disc hernation surgery options?

Well looks like the alberta health system is going to take WAY to long to get my hernaited disc fixed (I need a Lumbar Discectomy) so I'm looking at some other options.

I can't find any Dr's in Alberta that will do private /public Neurosurgery

had a good recommendation for Ramesh Sahjpaul and Marcel Dvorak at Specialist Referral Clinic/Cambie Surgery Centre
bad news: 3 weeks to see him, and need a second trip to vancouver to get the surgery done later. might be a few months, and $10-12K

can get into see Dr. Richard Chan in false creek in a few days. he has been NOT recommended to me my another maggot, and the online reviews are mixed.
Good news: $8K and can see him in a few weeks.

    any other leads?

Rub St. John's Wort oil on it twice a day every day.
    That's the naturopathic remedy.
I did it every day for a year and it worked.

I gotta try the SJW oil on my chronic neck....does it improve degenerative type disc conditions?

    Thanks Splat.

Oh and anyone know any GOOD cervical neurosurgens in the Seattle area? Been to a couple and no good ones yet? Just want top be prepared when the day comes when I need the fusion.
